About | Linda (Southwick) Geer, 59, of Route Six, Union City, Pa. passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Corry Memorial Hospital. Linda was born June 13, 1950 in Union City, Pa. a daughter to Effie (Parkin) Southwick and the late Charles Southwick. She was a graduate of Union City High School and was employed as a bookkeeper by the former National Bank of Union City, Snap Tite Co., Penn Bank, Cherry Hill Division of Ethan Allen Furniture Co., McCrillis Farm Supply, and National City Bank. She also volunteered her time in keeping the records for the Calvary Baptist Christian School of Union City, Pa. where she was a member. Linda loved to lie in the sun, and her passions were reading, cooking and playing solitaire. She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Charles Southwick. Survivors include her mother Effie Southwick, her husband Larry Geer, whom she married February 15, 1969, a daughter, Christy Esh and her husband Don of Spartansburg, Pa., a son Nathan Geer of Chicago, Illinois, four grandchildren, Jared and Caleb Colvin, and Katie and Gabriel Esh, two sisters, Carol Southwick of Union City, Pa. and Brenda Seitz and her husband Forest of Columbus, Ohio, a brother-in-law Arden Geer and his wife Gail, of Trenton, New Jersey and four nephews. Friends will be received at the First United Methodist Church, 42 East High Street, Union City, Pa. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 1 p.m.. until the time of the memorial services at 3 p.m.. Rev.
