About | BLAIN - Martin Luther Miller, Jr., 50, of Blain, died from injuries received in an automobile accident on Saturday, February 5, 2011. He was born September 12, 1960 at Carlisle to Martin Luther & Betty Jane (Anthony) Miller of Blain. He was a forklift operator at Fry Communications, Mechanicsburg. He was a 1978 graduate of West Perry High School. He was a member of the Blain Sportsman's Association and the NRA. Martin was an avid outdoorsman; loved hunting and fishing. He was very proud of his sons and enjoyed all the time he spent with them. He was very dedicated to his job and enjoyed spending time with his immediate family. In addition to his parents, also surviving are two sons, Martin M. Miller, Michael J. Miller, Lynda Miller who is the mother of his children, all of Blain, six siblings, Linda Shutt and husband Dennis, Newport, Peggy Miller, Carlisle, Mary M. Morrison and husband Ken, Landisburg, Martha Wardecker and husband Millard, Newville, Donna Kint and husband Roger, Blain, Andrew Miller, Blain and many extended relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in the Nickel Funeral Home, P. O. BOX 910, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, Pa. 17047 with the Rev. Doran Wray officiating. Viewing will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2011 and 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Blain Cemetery.
