About | Adam Yackovich, 36, of Youngwood, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. Born Jan. 5, 1981, in Jeannette, he grew up in Bells Mills Road in West Newton. He was a graduate of Yough Senior High School, class of 1999, and also a graduate of Triangle Tech. He was a veteran of the Marines, having served in the Iraq War. He was employed by Pellman of Greensburg as an electrician. He was the son of George Yackovich Jr. and his wife Patricia, of West Newton, and his mother, Bonnie Heltebran, of Yukon. Also surviving are his sisters, Melissa Walters and her husband Ryan, of Greensburg, Angela Y. Dietz and husband George, of West Newton, and Amelia Yackovich, of Yukon; his maternal grandmother, Lois Heltebran, of Greensburg; a niece and four nephews who he loved dearly, Elizabeth Dietz, Adam Kerber, George Dietz III, Remington Walters and Edison Dietz; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George Sr. and Clara Jane Yackovich. Adam will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 136, Madison, where a pomen service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A divine liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Father Ruman Stoychev as celebrant.
