About | William B. Janiro, 59, of Madison, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born March 14, 1957, in Greensburg, son of the late Charles and Elaine Gerber Janiro. He was a graduate of the Yough Senior High School Class of 1975 and then attended California State University in 1979 with a Bachelor's degree in industrial arts. He was retired as a woodshop and auto cad teacher from the Yough Senior High School, and was a former football, wrestling and track coach. He was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Herminie and also officiated at WPIAL wrestling as a wrestling official. Surviving is his son Brad Janiro and his girlfriend, Staci, of Greensburg; a daughter, Kaley Janiro, of Madison; two grandchildren, Bentley and Vienna Janiro; also surviving are four brothers, Charles Janiro Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann, Roy Janiro and his wife, Sheila, Bobby Janiro and his wife, Jen, and Michael Janiro and his wife Becky, all of Tennessee; a close friend, his neighbor, Jim Lash; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 136, Madison. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Father Frank Gan, officiating. Interment will follow in the Madison Union Cemetery.
