| About | DANA CHRISTIAN SCHADE, 50 of Morrow, Ohio, formerly of Ruffsdale, PA., died Sunday evening, July 6, 2014 in Bethesda North Hospital, Montgomery, Ohio while being comforted by her loving husband Skip,her Parents, Brothers, Sisters and Aunts. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA, June 10, 1964, a daughter of Duane W. Snyder of Connellsville and Donna J. Leonard of Ruffsdale. Prior to her relocating from Pennsylvania, Dana attended the Mt. Pleasant Church of God and was a graduate of Yough High School, Class of 1982. She formerly resided in Denver, Colorado, Syracuse, N.Y. and most recently, Morrow, Ohio Dana had a fine appreciation for and enjoyed the elegance of life. Her home was beautifully immaculate at all times and she loved her Bling. Sparkle was everywhere, but started in her eyes and her crooked little smile. Dana herself was sweet and beautiful both inside and out and is described by her husband Skip as his “Everything”. Her close family members considered her as loving, caring loyal, generous outgoing, annoying, intelligent, spontaneous, stubborn, innocent, funny and spunky. Dana was all these things and more and she will be missed more than words can convey. Dana’s memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who loved her: Her parents, Donna J. Leonard and Duane W. Snyder Her loving and caring husband of 13 wonderful years, Leroy “Skip” Schade, whom she married July 21, 2001. Her beloved Dachshunds, Denver, Bailey and Samson Her caring Brothers and Sisters: Kimberly D. Hoke and husband Roger of Mt. Pleasant Lisa D. Starenchak of Ruffsdale Linda D. Murdock and husband Scott of Dawson Randy D. Snyder and wife Tracy of Jefferson, Ohio Neil D. Snyder and wife Stacy of Irwin And a number of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Dana’s extended family on both sides, are too extensive to list by name, but it would be her wish to note that she considered her family her world. Dana was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents: Donald W. and Daisey V. Gibbons Leonard And her Paternal Grandparents: Lester W. and Erna M. King Snyder Dana’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 West Pittsburg Street, Scottdale, Friday July 11th from 2-4 and 6 - 8 PM and Saturday from Noon to 4 PM at which time her Funeral Service will begin with Rev. Douglas Show, Pastor of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God, Officiating.
