About | Deanna L. Turnsek, 65, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, May 15, 2010. Born Feb. 19, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late Frank Carosella and Ruth Gaus Carosella. She was raised by her late grandparents, Andy and Rachel Carosella. She retired from Baldock Health Care Centre with 22 years of service. She established many friendships with staff, residents and families and found her job very rewarding. She attended Sewickley Area High School (Yough), class of 1963. She was a member of Herminie United Methodist Church and ladies fellowship group, and also AARP. Surviving are her husband, William; and loving daughter, Tracy, of Jeannette. Of all the gifts ever received, however great or small, to have had her grandchildren was the greatest gift of all. Also survived by grandchildren, Alisha, Melissa, Amanda, Erika and Nik; and great-grandchildren, Larenzo, Mariah and Gianna. She was proud of them all. They were all different, oldest to youngest, "so special." She told them, keep your nose clean, be kind to others, and always work as hard as you can to get a job well done. She was preceded in death by loving daughter, Laura V. Peddicord; and grandson, Michael A. Peddicord, "her special angel," whom she missed daily. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and Sue Carosella and family. In lieu of flowers, make donations to United Methodist Church of Herminie or a charity of choice.
