| About | Michael T. Kemp, 15, of West Newton, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. He was born June 26, 1992, in McKeesport, son of Christopher and Beth (Elko) Kemp, of West Newton. Mike was a tenth grade student at Yough Senior High School. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Elko; and his paternal grandfather, George Kemp. In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his sister, Heather Kemp, of West Newton; his maternal grandmother, Dolores Elko, of Belle Vernon; and his paternal grandmother, Ann Kemp, of White Oak. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who loved him. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Herminie, 724-446-7251. Memorial funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Norwin Alliance Church, 10585 Farview Drive, North Huntingdon, PA 15642, with the Rev. Robert Daniels officiating.
