Kristine Marie Carter of Acworth, Georgia passed away peacefully in hospice care on May 26, 2022, at the age of 65. Kris was born on September 20, 1956, to the late Edward and Beverly Carter in Newport, Rhode Island. After graduating from Middletown High School in 1974, she attended Katherine Gibbs School. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she earned her associate degree while working as an executive assistant in several prestigious law firms. At the time of her passing, Kris was survived by her son, Joseph Edward Carter, of Atlanta, Georgia, her mother, Beverly Carter of Virginia Beach, Virginia, her sister Colleen Broadwater of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and her brother Paul Carter of Alexandria, Virginia. She also leaves behind two nieces, Lia Broadwater of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Ana Broadwater of Kansas City, Missouri and a nephew, Austin Carter of San Diego, California. |
