| About | Patricia Ann Almeida-Caraway, 71, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018 at home. She was born on July 7, 1946 in Newport Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Lee Brown and Helen (Frazier) Brown. Pat was married twice, first to the late Richard E. Almeida, then to the late John J. Caraway. She grew up in Newport in her early years and later moved to Middletown where she graduated in 1966. Pat was a reserved person but was never one who shied away from speaking her mind and telling it like it was, whether someone wanted to hear it or not. She was very honest. Pat’s greatest passion were the many years she spent managing or bowling in one of the leagues she was part of at Aquidneck Lanes in Middletown. During that time she was quite the social butterfly who could talk to and get along with anyone, no matter what walk of life they were from. Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother who would do anything to help anyway she could, she was always behind them. |
