Robin worked for many years in the banking industry, but most recently retired from sales/management at JC Penney. She was a very valued employee that was dedicated and took great pride in her work. Having worked two jobs for most of her life, Robin only retired after learning of her illness. Robin was a very avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, well known for cheering and rooting her teams on as loudly as possible. Known to never miss a sunny day at the pool, Robin would wake at dawn to clean the house so she could soak up as many rays as possible. When she was not at the pool, she could be found shopping the day away. Spending time with her family was most important to Robin and her greatest accomplishment was being a grandmother. Robin's greatest blessings called her Nana. She will be so very missed by her grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Madison and Logan Dowd and Caidence, Blake and McKinley Bibeau. Her funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at St. Joseph's Church in New London. There will be a reception and celebration of her life following the Mass at Filomena's Restaurant in Waterford. Published in The Day on Feb. 26, 2017 |
