| About | We have lost the biggest, most kind heart with the passing of Sarah Louise Groux, 27, of Attleboro, MA. Sarah passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022, in the comfort of her home accompanied by loved ones. Sarah filled many lives with love in her short time with us. She was a daughter, a fiancé, an aunt, a niece and cousin, and a loyal friend. Sarah was smart and fearless. Her courageous battle with cancer over the last few years was a testament to Sarah’s bravery and the amazing love that surrounded and supported her. Beloved daughter of Barbara and Michael Groux. Loving sister to Jennifer Groux and her family, Brian, Madison, and Max Almeida. Caring sister of Christopher Groux. Adored granddaughter of Nana, Geraldine Doyle. Dearest fiancé of Andrew Robillard. Devoted friend to Ashleey Barker, Abbey Butler, and many others. Sarah was born in Newport, RI and raised in Middletown, RI. She was a fighter from the beginning of her life and spread joy throughout her family. Sarah’s smile was infectious. She was always thoughtful and caring about other people’s feelings. Her empathy served her well as she advanced professionally with Marshall’s. Sarah was on track to become a General Manager at the company, having taken on progressive responsibilities at several stores. She was completing college courses focused on business and enjoyed her work. Some of the most powerful support for Sarah as she faced cancer came from Marshall’s co-workers and the corporation. Sarah, a 2013 graduate of Middletown High School, thrived in her friendships. |
