About | Paul A. Calvo, Jr. 38, died in Columbia. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Paul A. Calvo, Sr. and the late Phyllis E. Murray Calvo. He was employed as a carpenter in the commercial construction industry. He graduated from Dreher High School in 1989 and attended Clemson University. An Eagle Scout, he was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping and playing his guitar. Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Shaw Calvo; son, Jack A. Calvo; daughter, Elizabeth Violet Calvo; two sisters, Kelly Calvo Wildes, and husband, Jason, of Lexington, Meagan J. Warren, and husband, Matthew, of West Columbia; paternal grandmother, Lucille Groome Calvo, of Columbia; nephew, Jahnyah Wildes. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Arthur Talley Calvo; and maternal grandparents, Popeye and Frances Murray. |
