| About | My sister Janet who not only graduated from GHS also taught US History at GHS 1961-1963. She later taught American Civilization (an interdisciplinary course for Jrs) at Langley High School in McLean VA. She was an avid patron of music and the arts and maintained a vast knowledge of history and current events. She was honored posthumously by the VA House of Delegates in a Joint Resolution (#483) for her distinguished educator career. Janet is survived by her sister Mary, son, Thomas, daughter, Shannon, 1 niece, 1 nephew and 5 grandchildren. |
