About | Dr. Robin Anne Culp Ioannides, 48, of Damascus, died Sunday afternoon, July 26, 2009, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, following her battle with cancer. She was the wife of Mr. Theodore John Ted Ioannides whom she married on November 2, 1985. Born on Easter Sunday, April 2, 1961, in Greenville, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Thomas Wade and Jane Goodwin Culp of Fort Mills, South Carolina. She was raised and attended school in Florence, South Carolina. Robin attended Clemson University; and attained her degree in Pharmacology from Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. Robin began working for Revco (now CVS) in 1984, and continued with the company to supervise the pharmacy of several area stores. She was a member of Damascus United Methodist Church. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Elaine and Allison Kristina Ioannides, both at home in Damascus; and sister Catherine Jane Culp Hazan and husband Marcelo of Columbia, South Carolina; as well as in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, on Thursday, July 30, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. The funeral will be Friday, July 31, at 11:00 AM, from her church, Damascus United Methodist Church, 9700 New Church Street, Damascus (Maryland 20872). The Rev. Walter G. Edmonds will officiate.
