| About | Thomas Bennett, 49, of Brooklyn Park, MN, died September 10, 1999, at home after a nine-month battle with cancer. Funeral services were September 13 at Lutheran Church of the Triune God, Brooklyn Center. Burial was in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal, MN. Thomas Charles Bennett was born February 17, 1950 in Webster to George and Yvonne Bennett. He graduated from Webster High School and Wahpeton Technical College. March 29, 1974 he married Cindy Petersen in Minneapolis. They made their home in Brooklyn Park. He was the regional mnager for Copper Sales, Inc., Minneapolis. He was assistant scoutmaster for Troop 234 in Brooklyn Park. He enjoyed flying his small engine plane, fishing and boating. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; two sons, Shawn and Brandon; parents George and Yvonne Bennett, Rapid City; one brohter George "Chip" Bennett, Colorado Springs, CO: two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Pete Bratager, Coon Rapids, MN; and Carol and Jim McNulty, Rapid City and nieces and nephews. |
