Robert Lee King, age 46 of Loudon, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Park West Hospital. Robert was employed with the Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 20 years in Loudon where he worked in almost every department and built many close friendships with his fellow team members. He was a graduate of Loudon High School, Class of 1984 where he played football all 4 years. He was a devoted and dedicated father and grandfather who loved to spoil his boys. Preceded in death by mother, Daisy (Lambert) King, sister, Judy Walden and brother, Glen King. Survivors include his wife, Lisa (Kirkland) King; daughter, Keeshia and fiancée, Adam Smallen and his son, Tyler; daughter Staci and boyfriend, T.J. Silvey; grandson, Colton Robert King; father, Joe King, sister, Sandra Jo and husband, Edgar Kepley, all of Loudon; brother, William Charles and wife, Donise King, Trinity, NC; mother in-law, Dorcas Kirkland; sister in-law, Deb and husband, Howard Crabtree; bother in-law, Mike and wife Cherrie Kirkland; many nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends. Funeral services 7:30 PM Thursday, McGill-Karnes Chapel with Rev.. Lynn Goodwin and Rev. Jimmy Ridge officiating. Interment 1:00 PM Friday in Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 7:30 PM Thursday prior to the service at McGill-Karnes Funeral Home, Loudon. |
