| About | Age 95 of Nashville, passed away ,of natural causes, peacefully on June 29, 2022. Preceded in death by her parents, husband (Jack), & son (Kevin). Survived by son Calvin (Barb), grandchildren Nina (Jeff) & Chad, 2 great grandchildren Charlotte & Jonah, & nephews Odell & Calvin Robinson. She was born in Pittsburgh PA & received her bachelor’s degree from W Virginia State College. She was the PE teacher & cheerleading coach at Burt High School in Clarksville & Meigs High School in Nashville. She taught swimming for several summers at Hadley park. Eventually she became a guidance counselor at several area high schools in Davidson County. She had a no nonsense style and helped shape thousands of Nashville’s best and brightest; she had a fun and full life and was never afraid to speak her mind, like it or not. After retiring she enjoyed playing golf & loved inviting friends over for swimming and grilling by her pool. A special thanks to the staff at Vantage Pointe for the wonderful care and kindness Rosemary received. A graveside memorial gathering for family is planned for a later date. |
