After CHS, Bob graduated from Texas A & M University May 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, followed by a Master of Environmental Engineering degree from University of Texas at Arlington in May 1994. After college Bob worked initially as a project engineer on several Dallas-Ft Worth area civil construction projects. He then joined TXI in 1991 until 2002 where he was a Senior Environmental Engineer. At the time of his passing, survivors of Mr. Cain include his parents J. Richard (Dick) and Maurine Cain of Whitesboro, estranged wife Dayna Caldwell of Roanoke, Daughter Jacqueline Paige Cain of Roanoke, Sisters; Tammy Hawkins of Columbia, MO, Karen Cain of Plano and his Maternal Grandmother, Maxine Holman of Modesto, CA. He passed away at a care facility in Sanger, TX. |
