| About | Edwina “Peggy” Schraub, 66, of Bay City passed away Jul 5, 1995 at Vencor Hospital in Houston. She was born November 12, 1928 to Edwin and Helen Mgebroff Schroeder in Brenham, Texas. She graduated from Brenham High School and attended Texas Lutheran College. She married Orlando Schraub on June 26, 1949 in Brenham. She was an attendance clerk for many years with the Bay City ISD. She was an active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and the Rebecca Circle. She is survived by her husband, Orlando Schraub of Bay City; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Stuart Johnson of Blessing; one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Nancy Schraub of Katy, Texas; her mother, Helen Schroeder of Fredericksburg; one brother, Ed Schroeder of Virginia; five grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Jessica Schraub, Jake Johnson, and Michael Schraub. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Schroeder and a granddaughter, Julie Ann Schraub. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p. m. Friday, July 7, 1995 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bay City with Pastor Michael Aus officiating. Burial will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers include, Mike Hamor, Paul Johnson, O. D. Langston, Joe Rogers, Bobby Schroeder, and Arthur Vivroux. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City. |
