| About | Randy DuWayne Sullivan, 62, of Bay City passed away on June 13, 2011. Randy was born November 19th, 1948, in Bay City, raised there, and always considered Matagorda County home. Randy graduated from Bay City High School class of 1967, attended Sam Houston State University and completed his education with the Texas DPS Academy Randy enjoyed a career of protecting the lives of others serving an accumulated 20 years with Texas Highway Patrol, Brazoria County Sheriff’s Department, and Texas Department of Criminal Justice. During his service, he also worked with the Texas Railroad Commission and was assigned as a special theft investigator assigned to the Texas Rangers where he merited a special citation from the governor for his work in detecting and helping to prosecute a major theft ring. Randy was also a security project manager for the South Texas Nuclear Project. |
