| About | Walter Penny passed away suddenly on May 23, 2009. He was born in Bay City, where he spent his early years and graduated from Bay City High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, during Vietnam. He was a good Christian of the Baptist faith and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tenn. Walter retired from Goodyear Tire Co. after 25 years of dedicated service. He spent many years in Houston and Memphis, Tenn., as CEO of various Goodyear Retail and Commercial stores.
