About | Kathryn Ann Hodge 52, of Clute, Texas, passed away on Tuesday November 20, 2012, at her residence in Clute, Texas. On August 6, 1960, in Freeport, Texas, a beautiful baby girl was born to Mr. Allen and Thelma Hodge, whom they named Kathryn, where she was more affectionately called “Kitty Ann”. Kitty Ann was reared in a Christian home environment, she received Christ to be her personal Lord and Savior in her youth and later reconfirmed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and endured her health challenge being fully assured that Heaven would be her ultimate resting place. She attended public school and graduated from Brazoswood High School in the Class of 1978. She worked for United Health Care as a Case Manager Specialist. Her passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending family functions, helping her father with his barbecue business, playing dominoes and she loved to cook. She was also a diehard Dallas Cowboys and Rangers fan. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Press and Hattie Hodge, Pearl Helen Henderson and Lewis Batteau; four aunts: Lila Batteau, Ida Walker, Ollie Grant and Ester Mae Batteau; five uncles: Davis Hodge, Percy Harris, Clayton Harris, L.J. Batteau and Jessie Batteau; granddaughter: My’Kaila Jammer. Kitty Ann leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, a loving daughter: Ra’Neisha Jammer; two loving sons: Corey Jammer and Joshua Jammer (Katrina), all of Irving, Texas; parents: Allen and Thelma Hodge of Clute, Texas; two sisters: Jeanette Bell of Clute, Texas, and Karen Lewis (Dennis) of Lake Jackson, Texas; one brother: David Allen Hodge of Angleton, Texas; four grandchildren: Tela Jammer, Jassha Jammer, Ty’Kel Jammer and Sa’Rahi Jammer; her very special companion: Howard Echols; a special cousin: Wanda Randon; special friends: Alice Hodge, Jimmie Williams, Valerie and Michelle Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. |
