On Feb. 23, 2007, we were all shocked to learn that Shane was killed when his truck hit a tree out on Trimmier Rd. There are no words to describe the grief that we are all going through. Shane has touched so many lives in his life and I think the common memory we all share is "He was so much FUN!" He always had a way to make you laugh and smile. On April 23, 2007, during an Ellison baseball game, Shane's #17 jersey was retired. Next to his family, baseball was his life. He left behind a wife, Mandy, a daughter, Madison, and a son, Garrett.
