| About | LUCY (CONGER) KOON Lucy Gail Koon, 46, of Campbell, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Coker-Mathews Chapel, 5100 Interstate 30, with Rev. Randall Bost officiating. Burial will follow in Brigham Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers are David Arey, Dennis Gray, Jackie Hardin, Bobby Deaton, Homer Dale Manson and Darren Money. Honorary pallbearers are Lonnie Benson, Mendell Holley, Aaron Hyden, Lendell Jenkins, Craig Maroney, Gary Powell, Richard A. Powers, James Rhodes, Jeff Robertson, Larry Shaw, C.W. Whitson and Warren Winders. She was born Feb. 2, 1961, in Dallas to Jesse Conger and Dorothy Jerrett. She married Randy Koon on Oct. 18, 1986, in Greenville. She was a homemaker and employee at Henley Auto Supply. She was a Christian. Survivors include her husband, Randy Koon of Campbell; her parents, Jesse and Dorothy Conger of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Christi Evans of Caddo Mills; a daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Steven Jones of Campbell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Debbie Conger of Oklahoma, and David and Earlene Conger of Ardmore, OK; a brother, Allen Conger of Greenville; sisters and brothers-in-law Beth and Charley Smith of Greenville, and Esther and David Birth of Spring; a sister, Susan Gilbert of Plano; two granddaughters, Breanna Evans and Whitney Jo Evans of Caddo Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
