He was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, football, track and basketball teams while in high school. He was attending West Texas A&M University where he was a junior. He was a member of La Iglesia de San Jose. He worked at the B&R Thriftway East for six years as assistant manager. He married Esmeralda "Amy" Crox on March 1, 2000, in Hereford. Survivors include his wife; a son, Andrew Jordan of Hereford; parents, Jerry and Maria of Hereford and Anna and Darryl Stark of Clovis, N.M.; two brothers, Jerry Jr. and Oscar of Hereford; three sisters, Abby of Hereford and April and Ashley Stark of Clovis; and three grandmothers, Emilia Valle and Elva Garcia of Hereford and Herminia Jiminez of Clovis. |
