| About | WILLIAM STRICKLAND Mr. William Andrew (Andy) Strickland, 54, of Corpus Christi died Monday, February 2, 2009. He was born June 9, 1954, in Hillsboro, where he was raised. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1972 and worked as a maintenance tech. He was an active lifer in the Calallen Chapter of Gypsy Motorcycle Club and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Survivors include: his wife, Eva Strickland of Corpus Christi; three sons, Billy McCracken and wife, Lisa, of Corpus Christi, Robert Spencer and wife, Veronica, of Manchester, Tennessee and Charles Spencer and wife, Angie, of Simms; six grandchildren; parents, W. D. and Kathryn Strickland of Hillsboro; one brother, Larry D. Strickland and wife, Sharmon, of Hillsboro; three sisters, Judy Graham of Hillsboro, Cathey Keefer and husband, Marv, of Norfolk, Virginia and Vickie Middleton and husband, Frank, of Rockdale; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at DelAngel Funeral Home Chapel in Corpus Christi. I hope everyone will take a few minutes and remember another classmate of ours who has passed.How often we forget our memories with all the hectic day to day lives. |
