David was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1987, after expierencing burning sensations in his feet. Shortly thereafter he began to have ballance issues as the M.S. was progressive, and could only be stopped by very agressive doses of Steroids, requiring Hospitalization... He had to sell his business, Auto-Gate Austin, in 1994 as he was having memery problems and had lost his mobility in his Legs. He became a full quadraplegic in late 2000, as the MS continued to ravage his nuerologic systems. Obituary ran in the Austin American Statesman. |
