About | October 10, 1952 to May 10, 2018 C. J. left LP after 10th grade for Venezuela. His family eventually returned and he took a trip with three other guys to see the United States in a small Volkswagen. Who knows, one or two of you reading this may have been with him. He worked in the Houston area in environmental and safety jobs. There was an oil spill in 1994 that he helped clean up in Houston (San Jacinto Fire). He settled in Port Isabel, Texas because it was his hometown or birth place. In Port Isabel, he dismantled naval ships and became quite an expert. His hobbies were making wooden and metal art, fishing and surfing. He was married to Elaine Rosenbalm (LP class of '75-74 ) for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Elaine, daughters: Patty Miller, Noel and Erica Mire and his brother, Earl Mire. |
