Russell Wright Cheney Born July 27, 1945, Longview to John Monroe & Mary Lucille Wright Cheney. Retired from the Army National Guard where he served for 22 years as a staff sergeant & received the Army Achievement Medal. Loved to read books & a major history buff. Watched historical movies & then ask if you wanted to know what really happened. Enjoyed studying military strategy. Survived by his sister, Alice (Floyd) Wingo, White Oak. Preceded in death by parents, brothers John Cheney & Buddy Cheney. |
