He was living in Grand Prairie, Texas, at the time of his death on June 27, 1998. He was 51 years old. Don married Pamela Gail Shults on July 21, 1989. In addition to his wife, he was also survived by 2 daughters, Pamela Jo Cote and Amber Jorgensen; his mother, Merle; his sister, Camilla Blum (Class of ’66); and 7 grandchildren. At his “day job”, Don was a project manager for Erickson Radio. He was also a reserve police officer, a certified storm watcher, and a ROTC veteran. Don loved trains and was an avid collector. He had been a ham radio operator since the age of 10 and was a former ’65 classmate. Don lived a very full and rewarding life, and he is missed greatly by all who knew him. |
