| About | Met the Lord on December 25, 2004 after a lengthy illness. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. Jim lived his life in Monahans and Odessa and was a former ’65 classmate. He married his sweetheart and best friend Beverly Duckworth on March 8, 1963, in Abilene, TX. He served in the Navy on the U.S.S. La Salle and was honorably discharged in 1966. He returned to Odessa and established Allbright and Associates Inc. He and Beverly and their three sons own and operate the company. Jim was well respected and served his community at every opportunity. He was a member of the VFW and the Elks. Jim’s pet project was the backing and fund raising for the Volunteer Fire Department of West Odessa, of which he was an honorary member. Jim’s greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, 3 sons, Jimmy Allbright and wife, Starla, Michael and wife, Kristi, Jay and 6 grandchildren. Jim was loved by all who knew him and his friends and family will miss him always. |
