JIMMY REEVES.....Sherry Cutrell Higgins remembers former classmate, Jim Reeves, as a very sweet boy who grew into a sweet man. He always wanted to be a Highway Patrolman and worked so hard to accomplish that. Unfortunately, his life ended before he could achieve his dream. He passed from this life March 17, 1970. He was survived by his wife, Mary Childs Reeves, and their precious baby daughter Carla, whom he loved with all his heart. He also left behind his brother, Chuck; mother, Bonnie; and father, Jake. Interestingly, Jim’s brother, Chuck married Linda Bracken’s sister, Jeanie. |
