Former ’65 classmate, died suddenly after suffering a heart attack on February 28, 1990. He was survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart, the former Pat Stass (Class of ’66). Pat is now deceased. Other survivors include a son, Steven Campbell of Long Beach, California; and his mother. Roy owned Roy’s Butane in Monahans. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Leon Grigry shared these memories…………“Roy loved shooting and hunting and had a large collection of guns. He also loved old cars and owned several hot rods. He was a good friend and he is missed.” |
