Grant Foster, 50, passed away in his home unexpectedly Sunday, July 19, 2015. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Grant was born July 9, 1965, in Lubbock. He was a graduate of Northwest High School. Grant received his bachelor of science degree in education on May 16, 1987, from Texas Tech University. Grant was a teacher in Northwest school district for 28 years. He was a member of the Roanoke Masonic Lodge and was district deputy grand master. Grant will be remembered for his love of family, his fun-loving attitude and generous spirit. It was common for him to help provide Christmas gifts and sports funding for his students. He will be greatly missed by friends, family co-workers and students. He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Tun" Foster and Anne Foster. Survivors: His wife of 27 years, Pam Foster; daughter, Holli Foster; and cousins, Jay and Jeff Ward. |
