About | James died of Crohn's, a battle he fought for years since signing with the Houston Oilers. His first year with The Oilers he became very ill and almost died, which happened 3 times before he did pass in 1995. He lacked about 1 semester completing his Divinity Degree went back to Baylor being a coaches assistant while attending law school and became a lawyer practing in San Antonio, TX. This is him in the Bluebonnet Bowl 1963 Bluebonnet Bowl BAYLOR 14, LSU 7 Dec. 31, 1963, in Houston James Ingram caught 11 passes for 163 yards, including two touchdown passes from Trull in the fourth quarter.
