| About | Margaret Davis, age 79, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She is survived by her children, Shawn Davis of Uvalde, TX, Edward Reinertsen of Richardson, TX, and Allen Reinertsen and wife, Srisuda of Bangkok, Thailand; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Emily Vavra and husband, George, and Elizabeth Collins and husband, William; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Austin; grandson, Andrew Reinertsen; and her parents, Herbert and Juanita Allen. Margaret was born in 1936 in Temple, TX and graduated from Pasadena High School in Pasadena, TX in 1954. She then attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, TX and the University of Houston. Margaret retired to Albuquerque in 2001, to be near family. She was very active at St. Chad's Episcopal Church and Book Group. Margaret loved to travel. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Chad's Episcopal Church, 7171 Tennyson St. NE, Albuquerque 87122. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Chad's Endowment.
