About | Jeffrey Lester Frerichs November 20, 1959 — August 4, 2023 Nocona Jeffrey Lester Frerichs, a lifetime mechanic, and resident of Nocona, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2023 in Robinson surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on August 10, 2023 from 6pm-8pm at Waco Memorial Funeral Home at 6623 S. IH 35, Robinson, TX 76706. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on August 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Fellowship at 405 Estates Dr. Waco, TX 76712 with a reception following featuring his favorite BBQ Brisket and Sausage. Jeff was born on November 20, 1959 at Providence Hospital in Waco, TX to Lester and Renie Frerichs. He worked for 28 years as a Senior Tractor Tech for JB Hunt. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding ATV’s, off-shore fishing with his family, back road drives, listening to music, collecting Lone Star Beer memorabilia and model trains, and cooking for his family and friends. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Houston Astros fan. He loved a cold beer, cold A/C, and bringing quality sound for his music at work and family events, but his greatest love was his family and family ranch. He lived life to the fullest. Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Renie and Lester Frerichs and his maternal grandparents, Laura Adam and W.A. Walther and paternal grandparents, Cora and Henry Frerichs. He is survived by his wife, Joy; his children, son, James Frerichs and wife, Eli of Robinson, TX, son, Joe Ryan Frerichs of Nocona, TX, and daughter, Jessica Danielle Frerichs of Nocona,TX; 4 grandchildren, Ayden and Grayson Frerichs of Bowie, TX and Olivia Contreras and Layla Whitney of Robinson, TX; brother, Michael (Mike) and wife, Cathy Frerichs of Brazoria, TX; sisters, Cora Laurine (Sissy) Frerichs of Robinson, TX, Barbara (Jeannie) Truax and husband, Ken of Axtell, TX and Sandra (Sandy) Johnson and husband, Dean of Robinson, TX; along with several nieces and nephews.
