About | David Ham Sr. Obituary David Wayne Ham, Sr., age 72, of Elkhart passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Palestine Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 3, 1945, in Wharton, Texas to Ford and Mildred Tucker Ham. He had lived in Anderson County since 1984 and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Palestine. He enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to hunt and fish. He was co-founder of the Houston Sea Wolves Scuba Diving and Rescue Club. Mr. Ham was preceded in death by his parents; and wives, Ollie Faye Ham and Lauren Kay Ham. He is survived by his wife, Rama Ham; sons, David Wayne Ham, Jr. and Stephen Craig Ham; sister, Carol Armstrong; grandchildren, Samantha Kay Ham, Amanda Faye Bridges, and Justin Wade Ham; and great-grandchildren, Elijuah Erskine, Kenlee Webber, and Cainen Cole Bridges. Graveside services for Mr. Ham are scheduled for 11am on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Pilgrim Cemetery in Elkhart with Sonny Guess officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
