About | Robert Lee Baker, 78, passed away November 3, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He was born August 21, 1932 in Belton, Texas to the late C.A. and Rosalie Baker. Robert was a 1955 graduate of Baylor University with degrees in History and Art.He retired from Pasadena ISD after teaching 35 years. He was a social studies teacher and golf coach at Sam Rayburn High School from 1964-1991. He was also a well known artist in Pasadena and president of Pasadena Art League and a member of the Deer Park Art League and the Gulf Coast Art Society. His hobbies were painting, golf and supporting the Baylor Bears. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Jo Baker, daughter, Kelli Reagh Adkison and husband Timothy; grandchildren, Brandon Lee Adkison, Brenna Reagh Adkison; brother, Donald Ray Baker and wife Sheila; uncle, Fred Greeson and wife Evelyn and several other loving family members and friends. |
