| About | KERRVILLE — John Ehler, 49, a lifelong resident of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2006, at his residence. He was born March 31, 1956, in Abilene, to Clarence and Letha Faye (Drees) Ehler. On June 13, 1981, he married Anita Sweeney in Kerrville. John was employed at James Avery since 1978 and was the Director of Marketing there. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include wife, Anita Ehler of Kerrville; parents, Clarence and Faye Ehler of Muldoon; daughter, Courtney Ehler of Kerrville; sons, Carlos Ehler of Birmingham, AL, and Eric Ehler of Kerrville; sisters, Ruth Hinkle of Kerrville and Carolyn Ehler-Bloomburg of Seguin; and brothers, David Ehler of La Grange and James Ehler of Pleasanton. A visitation will be on Saturday, January 28, 2006, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Services will be on Sunday, January 29, 2006, at 4 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor David Chancellor. Pallbearers will be David Ehler, James Ehler, Joseph Hinkle, Duane Drees, Paul Hinkle and Tom Phillips. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Youth or Rotation Sunday School.
