| About | KERR COUNTY — Susan M. Keune of Ingram, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012. She was born in Lackawana, N.Y., to John “Jack” Lloyd and Margaret Lloyd Craver on June 11, 1955. She attended Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas. She worked at the Kerrville VA Hospital as chief patient care support for 31 years. She was involved in Beta Sigma Phi, 4-H Horse Club, FFA, Danskin Triathlon and was a Sunday school teacher. Susan received multiple awards through work and various organizations for her outstanding work efforts. Susan was preceded in death by her father, John Lloyd; mother, Margaret Craver; and brother, Roger Lloyd. Susan is survived by her children, Lily Keune Duren and husband, Randy, Jenny Langfeld and her husband, Greg, Amy Keune Patrick and husband, Jason and Lacey Keune. She also is survived by her brother, Chris Lloyd; and sister, Rose Hansen; as well as seven grandchildren, Megan, Koda, Kyler, Brennan, Grant, Riker and Ridge. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. A memorial Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery and then a reception at the Notre Dame Church Reception Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Duren, Koda Duren, Tony Hansen, Pat Hansen and Chris Lloyd. Memorials may be given to Notre Dame Catholic Church.
