About | Carolyn was well known by many for her gift of singing and musical ability. She performed often during school theatrical productions but was best known for her singing role as 'Bloody Mary' in "South Pacific" performed in the Western Hills.Auditorium. She was a pianist for the school choir under the direction of Ms. Jewel Kelly. Carolyn majored in music at the University of North Texas. She married several years later and was a doting aunt to her four nephews. What is most memorable about her death is passing away on her 46th birthday not long after being released from the hospital. She gained enough strength to walk to the piano to play her final tune while singing her last song. May she rest in Paradise! |
