Events | On January 19, 2019 we lost our beloved Ashely Adair Ray. We’re all devastated at the loss we feel and the gaping hole that now lives in our hearts knowing we won’t see her again in this life. But what comfort and what joy it brings to know that we are an eternal family and that “the spirits of all men (and women), as soon as they are departed from this mortal body...are taken home to that God who gave them life.” We know she is encircled about eternally in the arms of His love. The plan of salvation is real, families can - and ours will be we know with all our heart – be eternal. Jesus is the Christ and has ransomed us all. May He bless and keep you and yours. Hug each other a little tighter, spend that extra few minutes talking on the phone, listen to that little voice that tells you to text, call or visit your loved ones. You never know when they’ll be called back home. Ashley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ashley is survived by her parents, James Olin, III and Winnie Faye Ray; her grandfather, James Olin Ray, Jr.; her four brothers, Dennis (Melissa), James, Tyler (Monica), and Joshua; two sisters, Joy and Aimee; and her beautiful daughters, Marissa, McKenna, Alexis, and Sterling; and 13 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. |
