About | Her obituary: https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/hjnews/obituary.aspx?n=marsha-kay-perry&pid=172379257&fhid=6864 Marsha Kay Perry (71), resident of North Logan, Utah, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Sunshine Terrace Rehabilitation Center as a result of cardiac failure. Marsha was born on July 21, 1943 in Logan, Utah, and was the fourth child of George Helm and Norma Smith Perry. She graduated from Logan High School in 1962. She also attended special education classes where she met Wayne Harris who she married in 1978. They had one daughter (Kami), but later divorced. Marsha and her daughter lived with her parents and Marsha helped take care of them until their deaths. Marsha was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She played the piano, organ, and accordion, and was the pianist for a special needs ward for several years. She also loved attending the Logan Senior Citizen Center to visit and to play bingo, and she crocheted and embroidered numerous items for their boutique shop. Marsha spent the final years of her life with her daughter and granddaughter, Kami Perry McNeil and Brooklyn McNeil of North Logan. In addition to Kami and Brooklyn, Marsha is survived by her sister Margaret (Wally) Sjoblom of North Ogden and her brother Robert (Winona) Perry of North Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: George Henry Perry of Tremonton, Utah, and Merrill E. Perry of Logan, Utah. Funeral arrangements and services are under the direction of Allen Mortuary of North Logan located at 420 E. 1800 North in North Logan. Funeral services will be held at the mortuary at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, with a viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. A viewing will also be held Monday evening, September 8, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the same location. Interment will be at the Logan City Cemetery. A family dinner will be held at the North Logan 6th Ward building (2540 N. 400 East) following the services. |
