| About | Karen Bryner Livingston 1957 ~ 2015 Karen Bryner Livingston, 57, passed away January 16th, 2015 due to complications of terminal brain cancer. She was surrounded by her two true loves: her sons. Karen was born May 9th, 1957 in Salt Lake City, UT; the second child of John Castleton Bryner Sr. (Orem, UT) and the late JoAnn Peterson Bryner. Karen grew up in southern California alongside one sister and two brothers: Barbara Ellen Bryner Shaw (Orem, UT), the late John C. Bryner Jr., and Mark Peterson Bryner (SLC, UT). Karen spent her adult years living in both California and Utah. She married (and later divorced) David Livingston (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). Karen gave birth to two boys: Daniel Livingston (Monrovia, CA) and Nathan Livingston (El Monte, CA) and loved them with every inch of her soul. At age 28 she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She underwent multiple rounds of treatment and after years of physical trials she ultimately achieved her deepest wish: to raise her boys until they reached adulthood. Karen will be deeply missed and she will continue to live on in our hearts and fond memories. We find comfort knowing she is now free of the pain, suffering, and physical limitations that dominated her life. She is a true example of endurance, nurturing and unconditional love. |
