About | Dave died in his sleep of a heart condition as did his dad mowing the lawn 20 years before. Dave left behind his wife Lizette, 2 sons and a daughter with her (all graduating from Skyline), and 2 sons from a previous marriage. Dave rests in Wasatch Lawn Cemetery. .. We shared many great times, from wandering the fields in 1960-61 where Skyline was later built (as 40-inch midgets), to watching and playing hockey, to spending a summer (1981) in Saudi Arabia helping me install a defense computer system, to running the original course of the Marathon in Greece, to humbly walking through the Dachau Concentration Camp in Munich. Although our interests diverged and converged in many areas, we were truly brothers of unbreakable bonds. We shared a trust that rarely exists if ever, and once lost recurs nevermore. I raise my glass to an old friend... ============================= Since it fell into my lot That I should rise, and you should not I'll gently rise and softly call Goodnight and joy be to you all! .. So fill to me the parting glass And drink a health whate'er befalls Then gently rise and softly call Goodnight and joy be to you all! ============================= |
