| About | Samuel J. Hudson Jr., 55, of Troy, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at a local hospital. Born March 30, 1951, in Charlottesville, he was the son of Catherine Irene Rainey Hudson of North Garden and the late Samuel J. Hudson Sr. Mr. Hudson retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation as a mechanic; he was a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, and a farmer at heart. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary F. Bell Hudson of Troy; two sisters, Cathy Martin of Scottsville and Mary Jane Hudson of Saddlewood Farms; a brother, Michael Hudson and his wife, Lynne, of North Garden; his mother -in-law, Freda Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews. |
