About NASH Renee Marie Schultz Nash, 57, of Blackridge, Virginia was called to Heaven on March 5, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Bernard Nash, a devoted mother, loving grandmother, treasured sister, adored daughter, caring aunt and friend to so many. She is survived by her loving children Allen Nash and his wife Tracey, Ryan Nash and his wife Sandy and their children Madison and Westin, Elizabeth Nash Horne and her husband Tyler, and their children Rylee, Kenziee and Lainee, and youngest daughter Devin Nash. She is also survived by her mother and father Constance and Richard Schultz and her sisters, Sheri Devens, Janeen Welsh and her husband Tim, and Kim Dean. God broke the mold when he made Renee. She was a sweet, kind, incredible woman who made a tremendous impact on everyone she met. After graduating from Blacksburg High School in 1977, she attended Virginia Tech where she met her husband Bernard. After marrying, she and Bernard returned to his hometown of Blackridge, Virginia, where they were part owners and operators of Moseley and Nash Well Drilling. She raised four accomplished children always putting her family first and foremost. She spent countless hours on the road to either ball practice or dance lessons. Renee stood behind her children no matter what their goals were, and was a constant force of encouragement in all their endeavors. Renee was an involved parent at Brunswick Academy, an active member in the community, and a faithful member of Prospect United Methodist Church. During high school, she became a dear friend to many from her graduating class, and remained forever friends with her “Ya-Ya” sisters. Renee is remembered as a selfless, gentle soul, who looked for the best in everyone. She was considered by most to be nothing less than an earthly angel. Her cheerful smile and sweet demeanor could instantly brighten anyone’s day. Growing up she was a second mother to her three younger siblings, and an exemplary daughter who made her parents proud. Renee had a true passion for animals. She opened her heart and home to many over the years. For those she couldn’t take in personally, she always made an effort to help them find happy homes. She was truly beloved, and will be deeply missed.
Events Visitation will be Friday, March 10th from 6:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Virginia.
