Stuart Madison Baker, 45, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at his home. He was born in Roanoke, Va. on August 17, 1959. He was a clerk at the Radford Post Office. He is survived by his wife, Vicky Kipps Baker; his parents, Moorman Shepherd Baker, Sr. and Frieda Dansberger Baker, all of Blacksburg; two sons, Stuart Madison Baker, Jr. of Norfolk, Va., Armstead Gallion Baker of Blacksburg; four brothers, Hite Baker of Perkasie Pa., Moe Baker of Blacksburg, Randy Baker of St. Simons Island, Ga., and Vernon Baker of Charlottesville, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reggie Tuck and the Rev. Don MacNicoll officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg. |
