About | Surrounded by his family, Gary Wayne Lawson passed away peacefully at his home in Purcellville, Virginia on July 27, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Linda Linhoss Lawson. Gary was born March 4, 1945 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, the son of the late Vernon Curtis and Dorothy Cassidy Lawson. He was a devoted family man and arguably the world’s best granddad. The owner of Circle Auto Body since the late 1970’s – he was an affiliate of the Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association – and was highly respected throughout the auto body industry. He enjoyed golfing, classic cars, and was an avid football fan, holding season tickets to the Washington Redskins. Gary was a member of the U.S. Army and served with distinction for three years in Thailand. In addition to his wife, he is Survived by his mother “Dot” of Harrisonburg, VA; a daughter, Gina Lawson Burns and her husband, Terry of Purcellville, VA; a sister, Judy Lawson and her husband, George Dellyssee of Harrisonburg, VA; two brother-in-laws, Kenneth Linhoss and his wife, Judy and Charles Linhoss all of Harrisonburg, VA; and three grandchildren, Trevor Wayne Burns, Kylie Renee Jenkins and Tanner Michael Burns all of Purcellville, VA. 
A daughter, Stacey Michelle Lawson preceded him in death. Family will gather for visitation from 6 – 8 P.M. Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home in Berryville, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 2, at the Enders & Shirley Chapel with Rev. Mike Minter officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville.
